(We would like to suggest that you read
and practise with an empty
Teapot until complete expertise
and dexterity in Teapot dressing
has been achieved.
We find it only takes a few tries
and you, too, will become a role model
for Teapot dressing in your area!)

Let's Begin our lesson in Teapot Dressing!

#1 -Untie the pretty ribbons and lay out your teacozy on a flat surface.

(You don't actually need a doily, it just makes everything prettier)

#2-  Next, Set out your teapot of choice and position the Teacozy

so that the spout is poking itself through the opening of the two panels...

just like in this photo.

#3- Next bring the sides around the Teapot to meet at the handle.

Take the bottom two ribbons in hand and tighten them enough

to snug along the bottom of the teapot but NOT go under it.

We want the bottom of the Teapot to remain on the table surface.

#4- Make a pretty bow at the bottom under the handle.

Then take the top ribbons in hand

and gently begin to gather the top of the teacozy ...

just like in this photo.

#5- Pulling the ribbons tightly,

tie your second pretty bow above the handle....

Here is a view from the top.

The teacozy is snug enough to cover the teapot

but still allows steam to escape.

Your Dressed-and-Ready-for-Action Teapot

should look just like this photo...

(except maybe its wearing a different print, it is nice to dress seasonly.)
